People registering for the BABOR newsletter during that time will have a chance to win an ampoule Easter Egg worth 50 GBP (“Sweepstakes”). The following terms of participation apply to this sweepstakes contest.

1. 
   How can I participate?
   All natural persons residing in the UK who have registered with their email address for the BABOR newsletter in the period from 3/13/2023 to 3/13/2023 are eligible to participate, with the exception of Dr. Babor GmbH & Co. KG employees and their relatives (“Participants”).
   By pressing the “Subscribe to newsletter” button, the participant agrees to these terms of participation. Participation in the sweepstakes is free of charge with the exception of transmission costs that may be incurred by the participant. There are no hidden follow-up costs. Participation in the sweepstakes contest does not entail any obligation to purchase products and/or make use of certain services. The subscription to the newsletter can be revoked at any time. The winners will be drawn randomly from all participants. The winners will be determined within 7 days after the end of the sweepstakes period.
   The winners will be notified via the registered email address after the drawing and. If the postal address has not already been saved in the customer account profile, you will be prompted in this email to add it so that we know where to send the prize. If a prize cannot be delivered (e.g. due to incorrect email address or contact details), any claim to the prize will be forfeited. The prize is not transferrable.

   What happens to the data I provide?
   For participation in the sweepstakes, you must provide your personal data (title, first and last name, email address). The legal basis for use of the data is your consent as defined in Article 6 (1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).
   By participating in the sweepstakes, the participant consents to the collection, processing, storage, and use of his/her data gathered in the course of participation, including the following:
   Unless the participant has expressly consented to additional use (e.g. for advertising purposes), the name and email address—as well as the postal address in the event of a win—and all accruing usage data will be collected and used for participation confirmation and processing and to notify the winners. Furthermore, we will use it for other processes necessary to implement the sweepstakes as well as for the newsletter registration. Service partners who are engaged for prize and/or notification mailings are exempted. In the latter case, the transmission will only take place to the extent necessary for this purpose.
   The organizer does not guarantee that data transmitted electronically cannot be viewed or lost by third parties during transmission (e.g. via WLAN/Wi-Fi) and rejects any liability in this regard.

   How can I revoke my consent – Right of revocation
   Participants can revoke their consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of their personal data at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply send an informal email to [email protected]. Please note: If the revocation is submitted before the prize draw has been processed, further participation is excluded. In addition, any claims to prizes will be forfeited.
   Participants can also use this email address at any time to request information about the collection, processing, storage, and use of their personal data; if necessary, they can also use it to demand correction, transfer, and deletion of the data. After a revocation of consent has been received, the personal data of the participants will be deleted, unless there is a statutory obligation to retain the data.
   If participants suspect that the organizer’s personal data processing is violating data protection regulations, they can complain to a supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authorities in this case are the supervisory authorities in the Member State of the participants’ place of residence or place of work or the supervisory authorities in the place of the alleged infringement.

   The sweepstakes is not affiliated with Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, nor is it sponsored, endorsed, or organized by them in any way.
   Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook are not responsible for any of the content published as part of this showcase contest. The recipient of the data provided by the participant is not Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook, but the organizer Dr BABOR GmbH & Co. KG. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this contest should not be directed to Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook, but to [email protected].
5. 
   What else is important?
   BABOR is entitled to change the terms of participation and/or prizes at any time. BABOR has the right to terminate or interrupt the sweepstakes for good cause without prior notice.
   Termination for good cause may occur in particular if proper execution of the sweepstakes can no longer be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. Should individual provisions of these terms of participation be or become ineffective or unenforceable, they shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms of participation. The invalid provisions shall be replaced on a case-by-case basis by a provision that comes closest to the purpose and meaning of the invalid provisions. German law shall apply exclusively. The judges’ decision is final.
